Software and Database Development Projects
(a few of our larger projects)
A PHP/MySQL database was developed for the Australia Association of Conventions and Bureaus (AACB). The database is used to demonstrate to Federal Government Ministers and Austrade the extent and relevance of the sector and to engage with them for bidding and delegate boosting support. The data is also publicly searchable on the Business Events Australia website.“We initially thought that Viva Web Solutions might be too small to provide the level of support we needed, but we found it to be a great experience. Viva Web Solutions were very helpful, going above and beyond the brief. Dealing with them has been easy and efficient. Our correspondence has been open and honest and I am very happy with the way the database project has been delivered. If I found myself in this situation again I would definitely get Viva Web Solutions in again.”
Julie Sheather, Mandarin Media
'Patterns', a Java-based desktop application, was developed for Complementary Health Strategies as a tool to train health practitioners in Kinesiology : The 4th Generation - a technique developed by Chiropractor Kevin Donohoe. Flash and ActionScript were used extensively for the rich, animation-based training modules. Another key feature of this application is its custom-coded copy protection which ensures all installations have a unique, valid license.
"Viva Web Solutions has helped me every step of the way to turn my vision for a comprehensive training and patient management application into reality. Their attentiveness and attention to detail are unsurpassed."
Kevin Donohoe, Chiropractor
A comprehensive and detailed FileMaker Pro database was developed for the Barry Long Foundation International. The database is hosted, providing worldwide access to resellers for entry of customer purchases, bookings and donations. The database tracks worldwide sales and stock levels and dynamically displays product information for the Barry Long Foundation's online store. Essentially the database acts as a central repository for the core of the Foundation's operations.
"On behalf of the staff and directors, I would like to thank you for all you have done in bringing the Barry Long website into the 21st century. With the database and the website, we now have a solid infrastructure at the heart of the organisation."
"It is always a pleasure to communicate with you and I personally thank you for your patience and calm professionalism in responding to my many questions and requests."
Pamela Sinclair, Operations Manager
